<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate with small warpage that can suppress variations in coating thickness and width of a coating material as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The glass substrate 1 has side lengths L1, L2 of 500 mm or more and a board thickness L3 of 4.0 mm or less, and is divided into a plurality of small pieces 2 with an equal interval of 100 mm along one side and with an equal interval of 500 mm along the other side.
