METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COMPOSITE MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a composite having high bonding strength at surfaces where a PPS resin and an interlayer metal are in direct contact without imparting damage caused by heat or impact even on the interlayer metal or a precision component incorporated in a hollow composite.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a composite molding is provided by irradiating a laser beam on an injection molding made of a thermoplastic resin composition having a metal interlayer, and laser-welding it with another molding, the thermoplastic resin composition containing, (A) 100 pts.wt. polyphenylene sulfide resin with a temperature-falling crystallization temperature of 205°C or less, (B) 1-10 pts.wt. epoxy resin, and (C) 5-100 pts.wt. glass fibers having a single fiber diameter of 10 μm or more.
