<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer in which increase in a processing load is suppressed and accuracy in processing results is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer has plural pieces of instruction execution means and a function to diagnose a fault in the plural pieces of instruction execution means. The microcomputer includes: instruction acquisition/decoding means for acquiring an instruction stored in a program memory and decoding the acquired instruction; and instruction issuance means for issuing an instruction to the plural pieces of instruction execution means on the basis of the instruction decoded by the instruction acquisition/decoding means and writing issuance destination specification information specifying an issuance destination of the instruction onto predetermined storage means. Among the plural pieces of instruction execution means, fault diagnosis is performed for instruction execution means specified as the issuance destination by the issuance destination specification information written on the predetermined storage means, and fault diagnosis is not performed for instruction execution means not specified as the issuance destination by the issuance destination specification information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
