<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a failure point even when switchover of a redundancy configuration is performed in a network configuration having the redundancy configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A network management device relating to the present invention has: a network monitoring unit transmitting a monitoring message to a network device, and detecting failures in a network based on a response to the monitoring message; a device information acquisition unit acquiring, from a route information table, connection information on a path to the network device in which failures are detected by the network monitoring unit, and acquiring, from a device information table, management information on the network device on the path; a virtual device information acquisition unit acquiring, from a virtual device information table, management information on a virtual device and the network device associated with the virtual device when there is the virtual device on the path; and a failure point estimation unit estimating a failure point based on the response to the monitoring message of the network device corresponding to the acquired management information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
