The present disclosure relates to a fitness stepper, and more particularly, to a fitness stepper designed to enable exercise to be performed by continuously stepping on ladder rungs along an inclined surface, such as when actually climbing stairs or hiking up a mountain, through an unpowered means without the use of a motor. The fitness stepper of the present disclosure is configured using: four ladder rungs connected perpendicularly to a rotating shaft and parallel to the surface of the ground, wherein the rotating shaft is rotated by means of the weight of the user; and a device enabling the length of a rotor connecting the rotating shaft and the ladder rungs to be varied so as to enable the ladder rungs to slide obliquely downward at an angle toward the surface of the ground and to rotate as they rise, thus enabling a ladder-climbing exercise to be continuously performed by stepping and climbing alternately with each foot on the infinitely rotating ladder rungs. Also, the fitness stepper of the present disclosure may be manufactured at a low cost, does not consume electricity, and generates virtually no noise or vibrations, such that the fitness stepper can be conveniently set up in a home, thereby enabling aerobic exercise to be easily performed in tight interior spaces. |
