<p>A touch-enabled personal whiteboard tablet (10) includes an electromagnetic digitizer portion (1 2) having a rigid input surface (14) with no display features. A pen structure (1 6) is operatively associated with the input surface such that proximity of the pen structure with respect to the input surface, as a result of a user's input, is detected by the digitizer portion.
