<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device of which the number of components is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A user interface 1 (a display device) is provided with a liquid crystal display panel 4, a vertical LED 14, a light guide plate 6, and a holder 7. A reflecting surface 24, which reflects light emitted from the light guide plate 6 to a bottom plate 17 side to the liquid crystal display panel 4 side, is formed on the bottom plate 17 of the holder 7. The reflecting surface 24 is formed by constituting the bottom plate 17 of the holder 7 by a nearly white material. The vertical LED 14 is constructed so as to emit light in a direction crossing the wiring board 8 at nearly right angles in a state mounted on the wiring board 8. A reflection light guide surface 23 which reflects light emitted from the vertical LED 14 and makes it enter into a light-receiving surface 22 of the light guide plate 6 is formed on a peripheral wall 16 of the holder 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
