<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter which can simplify the operation for returning a shut-off valve in a closed state to an open state while avoiding a returning operation body from greatly protruding to the outer side of a casing. <P>SOLUTION: In the gas meter, the shut-off valve V is provided which is operated to close at the time of abnormality occurrence and shuts off the a gas passage formed in the casing 1, and a shaft-like returning operation body 11 is also provided by which a valve operating part 10 for operating the shut-off valve V in the closed state to the valve opening side is operated to the opening valve side, and the shut-off valve is returned to the open state. In the casing 1, a movement quantity increasing linkage mechanism K is provided which moves the valve operating part 10 to the valve opening side of the shut-off valve by the movement quantity larger than the unit quantity as the returning operation body 11 is moved by the unit quantity toward the inner side of the casing 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
