<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video transmitter which can achieve 3D broadcasting without introducing a new facility, and to provide a three-dimensional video transmission program for use in the video transmitter. <P>SOLUTION: The video transmitter comprises a distribution unit, first and second decoders, and a video management unit. The distribution unit receives compression data for right eye and compression data for left eye, and outputs the compression data for right eye and compression data for left eye to different output destinations. The first decoder decodes the compression data for right eye and generates a video signal for right eye. The second decoder decodes the compression data for left eye and generates a video signal for left eye. The video management unit holds the video signal for right eye and the video signal for left eye, and generates a three-dimensional video signal based on the video signal for right eye and the video signal for left eye of the same frame being held according to three-dimensional reproduction control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
