<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag that is excellent in manufacturability, and can further certainly guide a main inflation part to the inner side of a vehicle cabin by further certainly expanding the sub inflation part in between a center pillar and a garnish. <P>SOLUTION: In a second foundation cloth part 32 forming a part of a main inflation part 26, a vehicle outer side sub inflation part forming portion 32c is protruded. In a third foundation cloth part 33 forming the other part of the main inflation part 26, a vehicle inner side sub inflation part forming portion 33b is protruded. The vehicle outer side sub inflation part forming portion 32c and the vehicle inner side sub inflation part forming portion 33b are overlapped and seamed with each other to form a sub inflation part 29, therefore, manufacturability of the sub inflation part 29 is improved. A part of the sub inflation part 29 is fixed in between a center pillar 16 and a garnish 27. The sub inflation part 29 can be further certainly expanded in between the center pillar 16 and the garnish 27, and the main inflation part 26 can be further certainly guided to the inner side of a vehicle cabin 14 by the sub inflation part 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
