<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with a structure in which a skin material is mounted on a seat plate or a back plate, and the skin material can be kept so as not to loose without complex surroundings of the seat plate or the back plate. <P>SOLUTION: A fastener 41 is fixed to the edge of the skin material 39. The fastener 41 has a crank shape having a base plate 51 and an L-shaped fitting part 53. The seat plate 6 (or the back plate) has a fastening hole 52 in which the fitting part 53 is fitted. A hook 53b forming the tip end of the fitting part 53 is abutted with the seat plate 6 from the inside (from the side of the cushion 7). Thus, the fastener 41 is kept so as not to loose.
