<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quarter part structure which achieves the optimum balance between stiffness and load absorption. <P>SOLUTION: This quarter part structure 110 has a side body outer 112, which forms the outline of a quarter part, a front reinforcement 114, which extends up and down along the tail brim of a rear door opening 104, a rear reinforcement 116, which extends up and down along the side brim of a back door opening 106, and a quarter panel 126, which is equipped with a first arm 128 extending forward and a second arm 130 extending downward from the tail end of the first arm 128. The lead end of the first arm 128 is welded to a roof side panel 134, the lead end of the second arm 130 is welded to the upper part of the tail end of the front reinforcement 114, and the tail end of the second arm 130 is welded to the upper part of the lead end of the rear reinforcement 116.
