<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink ribbon cassette that facilitates a user to carry, by eliminating a portion exposed to the external of an ink ribbon, while miniaturizing an ink cassette body, when detaching the ink cassette from a printer body. <P>SOLUTION: The ink ribbon cassette has a first bobbin wound by the ink ribbon and a second bobbin for winding the used ink ribbon, and includes a body having the first and second bobbins inside thereof and a lid member slidable with the body. The lid member includes a guide having a portion of a traveling route of the ink ribbon. In the first position of the lid member, the body and the lid member are brought into a closed state. In the second position of the lid member, the ink ribbon guide included in the lid member draws out the ink ribbon from the body by the sliding motion from the first position to the second position, and thereby a specified amount of the ink ribbon is exposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
