<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terbinafine pharmaceutical composition in a solid dosage form for oral administration for use in intermittent treatment of fungal infections, particularly onychomycosis, and a method of use thereof. <P>SOLUTION: Terbinafine in a solid dosage form for oral administration which is coated and/or is in a multi-granular form is provided. The terbinafine in a solid dosage form is a coated mini-tablet, pellet, or the like in which a polyacrylate coating and a terbinafine-containing core may be separated as desired by an easily dissolved coating, such as a cellulose derivative, and which may be further coated as desired by an anti-sticking layer of colloidal silica. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
