<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus, method, and program capable of reducing a time until communication with a control apparatus becomes possible. <P>SOLUTION: A PC card 1 comprises: a cable communication part 60 which communicates with a PC 101; a start processing part 31 which sequentially starts plural tasks including processing required to execute plural functions, at a predetermined timing; and an execution part 32 which executes a function corresponding to a command transmitted from the PC 101, with a started task.
