<p>An automatic liquid discharge device (1) has a head depression mechanism (80) for performing not only the discharge of liquid from the discharge nozzle of a pump-equipped container (30) by means of the depression of a depression head (37) by vertically moving a vertically moving unit (50), which has a head engagement frame (4) in which the depression head (37) of the pump-equipped container (30) is fitted, but also the lifting and return of the depression head (37), which has been depressed completely, to the upper limit position of vertical movement of the depression head (37).
