<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden on a user for device-setting operation of a communication device provided for wireless communication with an information processor. <P>SOLUTION: When the CPU 10 of an ethernet converter 1 receives a communication packet addressed to a common MAC address by an ethernet I/F part 13, the CPU 10 monitors the communication packet on the network for a fixed time. After confirming that no communication packet responding to the communication packet addressed to the common MAC address by another ethernet converter or information processor is detected, the CPU 10 responds to the communication packet addressed to the common MAC address by the ethernet I/F part 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
