<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall-mountable remote control that has a preferred thin shape. <P>SOLUTION: In a wall-mountable remote control R having a casing C that stores electric components therein, and packing 5 that, when the casing C is mounted on a mounting wall surface 9, is compressed between the wall surface 9 and a back wall portion 20 of the casing C to seal off a hole portion 15 where electrical wiring is led out, the back wall portion 20 of the casing C has in a position apart from the packing 5 a projecting portion 16 projecting backward of the casing C to a height up to the thickness of the compressed packing 5 and forming a recessed portion 16a inside the casing C, and at least one electric component 39 in the casing C is arranged in front of the projecting portion 16 to enter the recessed portion 16a and avoid interfering with the back wall portion 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
