PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite semipermeable membrane that has almost no quality degradation by preventing impairment of the water permeability and the solute removal rate of a composite semipermeable membrane even if dried at a high temperature, and a composite semipermeable membrane element.

SOLUTION: The composite semipermeable membrane is made to contain polyglycerols or polyglycerols and glycerin. The composite semipermeable membrane is composed of a base material, a porous resin, and a separation function layer.
