<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a double-sided flexible printed board having sufficient heat resistance, flame retardance and adhesiveness, in which the manufacturing process is simple and a complicated facility is not required. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a double-sided flexible printed board includes a step for coating a metal foil directly with a varnish containing an aromatic polyamide resin represented by formula (1), an epoxy resin and an organic solvent, a step for removing the solvent and providing a resin layer, and a step for sticking the metal foil to the resin layer side and then hardening. (In the formula, m, n are average values and m+n is a positive number of 2-200, n is a positive number of 0.1 or higher.
