<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air admission window that enables a sash to be opened in a singly swinging manner to at least either of right and left sides depending on a direction of a wind and that enables the sash to be protruded in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: An air admission window comprises a frame body that is attached to an opening of a building frame, and a sash that is provided in such a manner as to be singly swingable and protrusible to the outdoor side of the frame body. The frame body comprises a head and a sill, which are disposed almost in parallel in upper and lower positions, respectively, and right and left jambs that are positioned at both ends of the head and both ends of the sill, respectively. The sash comprises top and bottom rails that are disposed almost in parallel in upper and lower positions, respectively, and right and left stiles that are positioned at both the ends of the top rail and both the ends of the bottom rail, respectively. The head and the top rail and/or the sill and the bottom rail are connected by means of right and left link arms, respectively. One end of the link arm is connected via a rotating shaft, and the other end is connected in a sliding manner.
