<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label extending mechanism, which can increase frictional resistance between a stretch label and an opening/closing claw when inserting the extended stretch label to an attachment object, and reduce the frictional resistance between the stretch label and the opening/closing claw when drawing the opening/closing claw from between the stretch label and the attachment object, and a label attachment device with the label extending mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The mechanism includes: a plurality of levers 27 each having the opening/closing claw 30 attached to a tip thereof, the levers being concentrically supported to be swingable; and a drive means for oscillating the levers 27. The difference in angle of the lever 27 between when the opening/closing claw 30 is opened to an extension position of a label L and when the opening/closing claw 30 is slightly closed from the extension position of the label L makes the contact area of the opening/closing claw 30 to the label L when the opening/closing claw 30 is slightly closed from the extension position of the label L smaller than the contact area of the opening/closing claw 30 to the label L when the opening/closing claw 30 is opened to the extension position of the label L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
