<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch pen capable of improving the sensitivity for a capacitance-type touch panel device without damaging a touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: A touch pen 100 contains a pen body 110 having conductivity and a stylus head 120 fixed to an end of the pen body. The stylus head includes a carbon nanotube composite structure. When the stylus head comes in contact with a touch panel, capacitance is generated between the stylus head and the touch panel, and a position detection is executed. The carbon nanotube provide proper toughness and conductivity so that high sensitive position detection becomes possible without damaging the touch panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
