PURPOSE: A particulate filtering apparatus of a charged oxidation catalyst type is provided to reduce maintenance costs by minimizing the pollution of an electrical discharge pole as the electrical discharge pole is not exposed to entreated exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A particulate filtering apparatus of a charged oxidation catalyst type comprises a housing body(10), a plurality of units(20) for collecting dust in a filter, a discharge electrode(30), a voltage applying device(40). The housing body is divided into an inflow section(10a) and an outflow section by a blocking plate(11). A plurality of units for collecting the dust in the filter is installed in the cylindrical perforated hole(11a) of the blocking plate, and placed in the inflow section. The units for collecting the dust in the filter comprise an inner space(20b), and a metal foam filter. The divided inner spaces are formed, as the blocking plate is installed in a front end portion. The metal foam filter is coated with oxidation catalysts. The discharge electrode is installed in each inner space of the units for collecting the dust in the filter. The discharge electrode comprises a plurality of the electrical discharge poles(31) and a support(32) for the electrical discharge poles. The support for the electrical discharge poles fixes a plurality of the electrical discharge poles. The voltage applying device applies voltages to the units for collecting the dust in the filter, and the discharge electrode. |
