OPTICAL RECEIVER MODULE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize good frequency pass characteristics (S21) even though pre-amplifiers having different input impedance are used with an identically designed light emitting element used in an optical receiver module.

SOLUTION: An optical receiver module has: a semiconductor chip 6 in which a light receiving element is mounted; a pre-amplifier 2 amplifying an output signal of the light receiving element; an insulative carrier substrate 3 on which the light receiving element is mounted; and two electrodes 4 and 5 connected with the semiconductor chip 6 so that the output signal of the light receiving element is input to the pre-amplifier through the electrode 5 on the carrier substrate and forming capacitance having a capacitance value of 40fF or more between the two electrodes on the carrier substrate when the light receiving element is not mounted. The problem is solved by having the above-described components.
