<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-reflecting substrate which demonstrates high optical reflectance and which enables light emission to be obtained that is low in reflectance anisotropy and that has excellent isotropy; and to provided a light-emitting element using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This light-reflecting substrate includes an aluminum substrate and an aluminum anodic oxide film provided on the aluminum substrate. the ratio between surface roughness Ra1 in a first direction on the surface of the anodic oxide film and surface roughness Ra2 in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction is 0.4 to 1.0 (wherein, out of Ra1 and Ra2, the larger value is set as the denominator and the smaller value is set as the numerator, and if Ra1 and Ra2 are the same value, either can be the denominator); Ra1 and Ra2 are each 0.1 to 0.4 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
