<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of determining the location of a wireless terminal which adaptively adjusts a positioning period based on a degree of mobility of the wireless terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless terminal comprises a gyroscope sensor and receives position information from a GPS, and compares a predetermined first reference acceleration with a mobile acceleration to update a positioning period of the terminal based on the comparative result or to update the position of the wireless terminal using the GPS or a network server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
