<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of a reference electrode and a concrete structure in which installation and substitution work of the reference electrode can be easily performed. <P>SOLUTION: As for an installation method of a reference electrode 6, in the installation method of a reference electrode into a concrete structure 10 in which a steel material 2 is installed in an inside of a concrete 1, a recessed portion which opens at a surface of the concrete structure is formed on a surface of the concrete, the reference electrode is installed in the recessed portion to measure an electric potential of the steel material.
