<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a utility value of the artificial ground of a building. <P>SOLUTION: This heat exchange system 10 includes the artificial ground 12 serving as a foundation of the building 11, a solar water heater 13, a water supply pipe 14, and a hot-water heater 15. The artificial ground 12 includes a rain water tank 16 embedded under the building 11, a plurality of resin blocks 17 laid to form gaps in rain water tank 16 and the like. The water supply pipe 14 is drawn out of the outside of the rain water tank 16, stretched around in the rain water tank 16 so as to thread its way through the gaps between the blocks 17, and drawn out of the rain water tank 16 to the outside. The water supply pipe 14 is dipped in rain water stored in the rain water tank 16. The heat of the rain water stored in the rain water tank 16 moves through the water supply pipe 14 to tap water flowing through the water supply pipe 14.
