CORE NETWORK DEVICE AND HOME BASE STATION, AND METHOD THEREOF FOR PROCESSING LIPA CONNECTION

Disclosed are a core network device and a home base station, and a method thereof for processing a local IP access (LIPA) connection. The method comprises: receiving an instruction message transmitted by a source home base station when same has confirmed that a UE handoff is required and a LIPA is activated; on the basis of the instruction message, UE subscription data, and local gateway-related information, confirming that the UE is capable of implementing the handoff while maintaining the LIPA connection, returning a message of successful access to the source home base station, instructing the source home base station to commence a UE handoff-related operation. In the present invention, LIPA connection processing of existing handoff process is optimized, thus allowing maintenance of the continuousness of the LIPA connection during the UE handoff process.
