VARIABLE SIDE BRANCH FOR REDUCTION OF HYDRAULIC PULSATION NOISE

PURPOSE: A variable side branch for reducing hydraulic pulsation noise is provided to reduce noise due to changed frequency components immediately corresponding to the change of pulsation frequency. CONSTITUTION: A variable side branch(140) for reducing hydraulic pulsation noise has a structure in which one end is connected to one position of the side surface of a hydraulic pipe(110) and the other end is closed. The side branch is formed into a double pipe shaped having a fixed pipe(150) and a movable pipe(160). The fixed pipe is coupled to the hydraulic pipe and has a basic length(L1). The movable pipe can relatively move from the fixed pipe and provides an extended length(L2). The entire length of the side branch is controlled to λ/4 wavelength of pulsation frequency of fluid flowing through the hydraulic pipe.
