PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating incineration ash, whereby something contained in incineration ash and being problematic when incineration ash is used as a cement material can be removed efficiently without fail. SOLUTION: The method for treating incineration ash comprises the recovery step of recovering incineration ash discharged from a municipal refuse incinerator in receiving tanks for main ash and fly ash; the grinding step of grinding the main ash in the main ash receiving tank of the recovery step to obtain ground particles of a size of 200 μm or smaller in terms of a mean particle diameter; the dioxin removal step of decomposing dioxins by treatment at 300-450 deg.C in a reducing atmosphere, and the washing step of washing the main ash obtained from the grinding step and the fly ash obtained from the dioxin removal step with water to recover solids reduced in chlorine components. |
