PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material for an electric double layer capacitor which enables energy reduction in manufacturing processes and enriched flexibility. SOLUTION: By compounding one or more hinds of a vinyl copolymer and casein, an electrode material which is excellent in a dispersion effect of active carbon, and a high concentration of active carbon at coating at low viscosity is enabled and the flexible electrode material can be obtained.
