PURPOSE: A noise reducing type piston rod of a vehicle shock absorber is provided to prevent the direct transferring of shock wave and vibration to a vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: A noise reducing type piston rod(10) of a vehicle shock absorber comprises a piston valve(13) and a vibration reducing unit(20). The piston valve is installed in the end portion of a piston rod. The vibration reducing unit is installed in the longitudinal direction of a piston rod and vibrated according to the reciprocation of the piston rod for reducing the transferring speed of shock wave generated by the opening and closing of the piston rod and reduce the vibration transferred to a vehicle body through resonance frequency change. The material of the vibration reducing unit is different from that of the piston rod and has a higher damping coefficient than the piston rod.
