PURPOSE: A communication system and method for directly transmitting signals between nodes of a communication system is provided to offer X2 physical interface which allows point to point communication or link as well as broadcasting link in a mobile WDM-access network. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of nodes(1021-102n) provides communication with one or more devices. A multiplexer/demultiplexer device(108) demultiplexes first optical signal of a center node(100) to a plurality of nodes. The multiplexer-demultiplexer device multiplexes second optical signal of one or more nodes. The node generates optical signal which is allocated one or more other nodes in order to transmit signals. The multiplexer-demultiplexer device unites the optical signal of a node with the first optical signal.
