The brassiere (10) has a length-adjustable U-shaped underwire arrangement (14) arranged at a lower edge of two cups (12). The underwire arrangement exhibits two underwire elements that are sectionally overlapped and are adjustable against each other. The underwire arrangement is fastened at an end that lies at a distance to the overlapping region. The underwire arrangement is provided with a cap at the end lying at a distance to the overlapping region. A cup channel is arranged for receiving the underwire elements.
