APPARATUS FOR WARNING CHANGE TIME OF TIMING BELT AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A replacement time warning device and method of a timing belt are provided to distinguish extension state of the timing belt by comparing servo motor pulse distance and position data of the timing belt. CONSTITUTION: A servo motor(110) drives a timing belt moving a structure upward and downward directions. A bar code(120) stores position data of the timing belt. A command pulse is provided to the servo motor. A scanner(130) reads out the bar code. A controller receives servo motor pulse distance. The controller requests the position data of the timing belt to the scanner and receives it. The controller compares the servo motor pulse distance and the position data of the timing belt and distinguishes extension state of the timing belt according to the comparison result. The controller outputs the distinguishing result and controls the drive of the servo motor.
