PURPOSE: An air conditioning network system and a control method for an air conditioner are provided for local area wireless communication of an indoor unit and a portable terminal by using a portable terminal equipped with a NFC(Near Field Communication) module. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning network system is composed of a portable terminal(20) and an air conditioner. A program for control is downloaded in the portable terminal. The air conditioner is installed to be communicated with the portable terminal. The air conditioner is composed of a control unit, a NFC module, and a driving unit. The NFC module is installed for the communication between the portable terminal and the control unit. The driving unit is driven according to the order generated by the control unit.
