Convertible footwear, in the form of a tennis shoe, may have the components of a sandal embedded in the sole 1. The upper of the shoe 3 may be affixed to the sole 1 by a zip attachment 4. In use, when the upper 3 has been unzipped from the sole 1, the thong may be raised from the groove, and the toe pillar reinforced with an attachment 12. Alternative fastening means may be used to connect the upper 3 to the sole 1. |
