<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance security by suppressing illegal authentication of a third party, and improve user friendliness by inputting various fingerprints. <P>SOLUTION: A fingerprint authentication device includes an authentication reference data storage means for storing fingerprint data as an authentication reference and order data indicating the authentication order of predetermined divided portions of the fingerprint data, a fingerprint data input reception means for receiving the input of divided fingerprint data on predetermined divided portions of fingerprint data in the input order, and a fingerprint collation means for collating the divided fingerprint data received by the fingerprint data input reception means with the divided portions of the fingerprint data stored in the authentication reference data storage means and verifying whether the divided fingerprint data is input in the order set in the order data stored in the authentication reference data storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
