The laser protection system comprises a device for the detection of a laser beam (12) of laser on a laser protection wall (20), and an acoustic control frequency producer that is provided on the laser protection wall, where the device comprises a solid-borne sound sensor (7) that is equipped on or in the laser protection wall or is directed on the laser protection wall. The solid-borne sound sensor is connected with a signal evaluation unit that is coupled with a contactor for the laser. The signal evaluation unit comprises a signal filter. The solid-borne sound sensor is connected with the signal evaluation device in which fluid or gel is arranged. The laser protection wall is formed from two part areas with different materials or the intermediate area is filled with different materials. The solid-borne sound sensor is laser vibrometer.
