PURPOSE: A third rail tramway equipped with a protection cover is provided to prevent safety accidents and external dangerous elements by using a protection cover. CONSTITUTION: A third rail tramway(100) equipped with a protection cover comprises a power rail, a support member(120), a vertical fixing member(130), and a protection cover(140). The power rail supplies electric power to a magnetic levitation train. The support member supports the power rail. The vertical fixing member fixes the power rail in the supporting member. The protection cover protects the top portion of the power rail and the supporting member.
