<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely reduce possibility of leakage of information in secure equipment connected to electronic equipment with no dumper-resistant function. <P>SOLUTION: An RTC part 32 of a host terminal 30 is connected through a connection confirmation line 43 to a connection detection part 12 of the secure equipment 10 when the host terminal 30 is connected to the secure terminal 10, and configured so that the timer operation of the RTC part 32 can be stopped in this state. In initialization processing, the timer information of the RTC part 32 (stopped) is registered in the secure equipment 10 side. Afterwards, at an arbitrary time during operation (when a power source is turned on), the timer information of the RTC part 32 is compared with the timer information registered in the secure equipment 10 side, and when coincidence is not obtained, the secure equipment 10 is disabled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
