<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for processing images, which can reduce the load on operation for setting information such as region information, even if a plurality of imaging apparatuses having different arrangements are used or the arrangement of an imaging apparatus is changed. <P>SOLUTION: Each of monitoring devices 11-13, constituting the image forming apparatus, has a configuration in which a display means displays an image, in which an image of the first coordinate system being the coordinates system for imaging by the imaging apparatus is converted into an image of the second coordinate system provided on a plane used as a reference, on the basis of the arrangement of the imaging apparatus; an accepting means accepts setting information about the displayed image from a user; and a coordinate system conversion means converts the accepted setting information, from the information of the second coordinate system into the information of the third coordinate system, provided on a plane used as a reference which does not depend on the arrangement of the imaging apparatus from the information of the second coordinates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
