METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE PATTERNED RETARDER

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a patternized retarder is provided to form alignment films whose alignment directions are different by a one time light alignment process. CONSTITUTION: A polarization filter(20) is located on an alignment layer. A light blocking unit and a wire grid pattern unit(22) are repetitively formed on the polarization filter. Light is irradiated from an upper part of the polarization filter and aligned. The alignment film is aligned in a fixed direction. The shape of the wire grid pattern unit is a straight line.
