PURPOSE: An 8-stages dual clutch transmission is provided to produce a compact dual clutch by establishing the gear ratio more than 8 kinds. CONSTITUTION: A clutch housing(34) is supported within a transmission housing which can be rotated. A first pinion gear(42) is fixed and connected with a second transmission input shaft member. A first gear set comprises a first gear, a second gear, and a third gear. The first gear is interlocked with the third gear. The second gear is interlocked with the third gear. A second gear set comprises a second gear and a first gear interlocked with a third gear. A first counter shaft and a second counter shaft are respectively and parallely separated from first and second transmission input shaft members. A first counter shaft transmission gear is fixed and connected with a first counter shaft member(26).
