PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a surface heating element using a metal thin film etching electrode are provided to reduce the risk of a fire due to partial overheating of a heating film by employing PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient) characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A resistor printing roller(22) is installed and rotated on a support frame(22') and prints a resistor(13) in a predetermined pattern on the surface of a film base(10). A second heater(23) dries the film base printed with the resistor. First to eighth rollers(31-38) guides the film base from the resistor printing roller to a third heater(27) successively. A return roller(39) returns the film base drawn out of the third heater. |
