PURPOSE: An electronic device and a control method thereof are provided to assist the usage of object relevant information included in the recorded video based on the priority about map information and a present vehicle position. CONSTITUTION: An electronic device control method is as follows. The video according to a vehicle driving is recorded(S10). Vehicle position is gotten(S30). One object is extracted through the recorded video(S20). The relevant information of the object is output based on the priority according to map information and a present vehicle position(S40). Indicator points the moving direction and the position of the extracted object in an output step.
