PURPOSE: A system and a method for visualizing sounds are provided to image a transmitting path of sound waves having relatively low pressure generated from a sound source generating consecutively a specific frequency and to analyze a sound wave transmitting path by visualizing a process in which the sound waves are transmitted. CONSTITUTION: A system(10) for visualizing sounds comprises a sound wave generating unit(12), a light source(14), a photographing unit(13), and a control unit(11). The sound wave unit physically generates sound waves of a specific frequency. The light source operates by being synchronizing frequencies of the sound waves emitted from the wave generating unit. The photographing unit photographs a dispersing figure in which lights emitted from the light source are bumped against the sound waves emitted from the sound wave generating unit, thereby imaging. The control unit controls the operation of the sound wave generating unit, the light source, and the photographing unit. The light source emits the lights at time interval corresponding to a frequency period of the sound waves being emitted from the sound wave generating unit.
