MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF OF PLASTIC ROD GUIDE MEMBER FOR SHOCK ABSORBER

PURPOSE: A rod guide member for a shock absorber and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the damage by improving ductility and elongation by composing a rod guide member as plastic materials. CONSTITUTION: A rod guide member for a shock absorber comprises a body portion(10) and a dry bearing(20). The body portion is made of plastic materials including reinforcement members. The dry bearing is made of plastic materials including low frictional materials and comprises a hollow. Holding parts(13) are installed in the both sides of the hollow. The reinforcement members are made of glass fiber and the body portion is made of PPA(Polyphthalamide) and glass fiber. The low frictional materials is made of teflon and the dry bearing is made of PPS(Polyphenylene Sulfide) and teflon.
